Our Story · Handcrafted Since 1973

From Our Home to Yours

A family of designers and cabinet makers. Every kitchen and room we create is drawn by our own designers, built in our own workshop in Gorey, Co. Wexford, and fitted by our own team.

A Word From Our Founder

“It all began with a simple notion: to furnish our own home. Back in 1973, we weren’t trying to build a company; we were trying to build a home. That simple desire, to craft something true and lasting, is still the heartbeat of everything we do.”

“To see that same spirit carried forward by another generation, and in so many homes across Ireland and beyond — that’s more than we ever could have imagined.”

Andrew Ryan, Founder

Our Heritage

Five Decades in the Making

From a small workshop to a purpose-built manufacturing facility and showroom in Gorey, Co. Wexford. The technology has changed; the way we build has not.

Where It All Started

Unable to find furniture that met their standards, Andrew and Elizabeth Ryan set up a modest workshop in Gorey, Co. Wexford, built on a simple obsession: doing things right and making things that last.

A New Home for the Craft

As orders kept coming from across Ireland, we opened our first purpose-built factory in the heart of Gorey.

The Next Generation

Sons Aiden and Dominic Ryan joined the company, taking our cabinetry beyond the kitchen into bedrooms, studies and bespoke utility rooms.

Tradition Meets Technology

We invested in modern CNC machinery, pairing heritage cabinet-making skills with technical precision.

A Meeting of Minds

Michael Cowell joined the business, bringing a wealth of experience and a shared belief: it’s always about the people, the product and the design.

Room to Grow

To meet growing demand at home and abroad, we doubled the footprint of our manufacturing facility, without compromising the standards we’ve kept since 1973.

Fifty Years and Beyond

Five decades on, our family of experts still blends traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation, ensuring every detail is built to last a lifetime.

How We Work

One Team, From Drawing to Installation

The kitchen is often where it starts, but our design expertise covers the entire home. Because we design, make and install everything ourselves, nothing is lost between the drawing and the finished room.

Design

Our designers plan every room around how you live, then show you the finished space in detailed 3D before a single cut is made.

Make

Traditional joinery and advanced machinery under one roof, so we control the quality, longevity and finish of every piece.

Install

Our own fitting team scribes every element to the contours of your home, treating your space with the same care we give it in the workshop.

What We Believe

Built for the Way You Live

Three principles have guided every commission since 1973.

01

Built to Work

True quality is found in daily interactions: the weight of a door, the seamless glide of a drawer, the satisfaction of a perfect fit.

02

Designed for Living

Rooms you don’t just use but want to be in. A timeless, architectural backdrop for the everyday moments that matter most.

03

Tangible Investment

We avoid fleeting trends in favour of lasting value. Making everything in-house gives you creative freedom and a build quality you can depend on for years to come.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but you can’t feel the weight of a door or the glide of a drawer online. Our showroom is where our design philosophy comes to life — a place to talk through your project with the team.
